Chamaerops Humilis - Palm Tree - 5L Pot

Supplied in a 5ltr pot. Your Chamaerops plant will arrive pre-planted in a 5ltr pot and packed in specially designed protective packaging to ensure it's in top condition when you receive it. All you need to do is remove it from the box, give it a good dose of water and leave to 'rest' for 1-2 days in a sheltered spot. Carefully remove from pot before planting and make sure the hole is deep and wide enough to fit the entire root ball without bending or breaking the roots. Water-in after planting. It's really easy to look after, simply plant in the ground or put it straight on the patio in its pot and leave to its own devices - this plant is very tough, requires virtually no maintenance and will still reward you with glorious evergreen foliage all year long.Chamaerops is fully frost hardy down to about -12 degrees centigrade making it suitable for planting outside in our climate (although it may need some protection from very severe weather). PLEASE NOTE: Young plants can manage temperatures down to -5°C, whilst larger plants can survive temperatures as low as -12°C. However if temperatures get this low leaves may show some signs of damage.
