Ideal for over-wintering - sown in September and planted out in March, Aquiles' tasty, smooth, domed heads will be ready to harvest from as early as the end of May! Can be planted at high density for mini heads. Maturing 12-16 weeks from sowing. Calabrese produces a large central head which should be cut and eaten. Delicious, smaller shoots (broccoli spears) will follow from each leaf joint. These should be cut with about 15cm (6") of stem. As for sprouting broccoli; sow end April-May, harvest October-November.
