A high quality new type for summer/autumn cropping. The medium sized round heads produce tasty, crisp internal hearts which hold well without splitting. Sow March-April. Sow 1.8cm (¾") deep in drills (shallow grooves) 15cm (6") apart on prepared seed beds outdoors. Alternatively sow in plug packs and plant out later. HEALTH BENEFIT: An excellent source of vitamin C.TOBY'S TIP: Don't discard too many of the outer leaves when preparing, these are where vitamin levels are highest. Try planting the herb garlic chives amongst your cabbage - it may deter attack from Cabbage Root Fly.
