Sowing Early sowings in pots or trays under glass at 18°C, under a light covering of compost. Later sowings in trays in a cold frame or sheltered seedbed. Planting Seedlings under glass should be pricked off into trays 10cm (4”) apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned to 10cm (4”) apart. When seedlings are about 8cm (3”) tall, transplant to the flowering site 25cm (10”) apart.
