Compact and very early with solid pure white heads of superb quality. Matures late June from a greenhouse sowing in Janaury. Can also be sown direct outside in April to harvest summer/autumn. Maturing time approximately 20-26 weeks from sowing. For early crops sow seed under glass, at 10-15°C (50-60°F) February-March. Harden off plants before planting outdoors. For maincrop sow direct outdoors, 1.8cm (¾") deep, in a prepared seed-bed March-May. This variety may also be sown in September and over-wintered in a cold frame, planting outdoors in spring to crop in early summer. Summer types - bend leaf over developing head to protect from sun. Winter types - bend over leaf to protect from frost. HEALTH BENEFITS: Ideal for slimmers, low in calories.
