Sowing Sow the fine seeds thinly in trays of good compost under glass at 21°C. Cover lightly with sieved compost. Planting When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off individually into 5cm (2”) pots. Grow until seedlings are about 10cm (4”) tall, then transplant into 9cm (3½”) pots. Good light levels encourage better coloration. Other Instructions To stop plants going leggy, and to encourage bushy growth, keep removing flowering spikes and cut back excessive growth.
