Sowing Sow 2 or 3 seeds into 7cm (3”) pot in a greenhouse at 20°C. Late May sowings can be made by placing 5cm (2”) apart direct into the soil or cold frame. Planting As soon as seedlings have produced 2 rough leaves prick out into individual 7cm (3”) pots. Gradually harden off before planting outside 60cm (24”) apart in late May/early June.
