Sowing Sow the seeds thinly in a good compost in pots or trays under glass at 16°C. Cover lightly with sifted compost. Planting When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart. As seedlings grow, transplant into 9cm (3½”) pots and gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site from late May onwards. Space plants 45-60cm (18-24”) apart. Other Instructions Regular removal of the dead flowers will encourage new growth, but take care not to damage new buds.
