Sowing Sow seeds thinly in trays of good compost under glass at 20°C, just covering with sifted compost. Seeds can be sown in cold frames in Autumn. Planting As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site in May. Autumn sown plants can be planted out in Spring. Other Instructions Regular removal of the dead flower heads will greatly extend the flowering period.
