Buy it once and enjoy the wonderful berry shades of this fabulous perennial every year! Echinaceas not only look beautiful, but they're fantastic for attracting wildlife to your garden, being popular with essential pollinators such as bees and also all sorts of different butterflies. This variety grows to around 50cm and will hold it's own weight without support (unless in torrential weather). It's best planted in borders with other perennials. If planting in containers, it's best to fill them with garden soil as compost can be too lightweight and echinaceas actually prefer a poorer quality growing medium. The best thing about perennials is that they grow back every spring, all you have to do is remember to cut them back to the base in the autumn after flowering and divide the clump every few years in winter
