If you have had enough of blanket weed blighting your pond then this reall works.It works by electronic copper ionisation of the water, which in turn controls and kills the blanket weed with staggering results in 2 - 4 weeks! The New I-Tronic from Velda eliminates the need for any liquid or powder remedies. The I-tronic once installed, is cheap to run with only the electrode needing to be replacing annually (depending on how often it is used). The Itronic 5 is suitable for ponds up to 5000 litres. Note: Copper ions are safe for fish but fatal for molluscs and hazardous to frogs. Also unit should not be run at the same time if salt treatments are being used.
