Compact plants bear spires of long lasting, bright cerise flowers, like loosely formed hollyhocks, that rise from clumps of rounded foliage. Sidalcea malviflora ‘Party Girl’ blooms over a long period and makes an excellent cut flower. False mallow is easy to grow, tolerating most situations except waterlogged soils, and will naturalise quickly once established. A versatile perennial for herbaceous borders and cottage gardens.
